BRAZILODGE - SECURE HOSTING

SECURITY PROTOCOL

This document presents the measures adopted by Brazilodge in view of the impact of COVID 19, aiming to
ensure the safety and well-being of guests, employees and partners.
The measures comply with
the protocols of the Ministry of Tourism that are based on recommendations from Anvisa, Ministry of Health and WHO.
The new procedures were implemented and the Brazilodge team was trained in the Covid 19 prevention program,
without, however, losing the warm and gentle way of receiving you.

RECEPTION

     Upon arrival, you will notice the presence of a disinfectant mat that has the purpose of cleaning the sole of the shoes, preventing them from bringing contamination into the Hostel.

   The use of masks is mandatory in all areas of the Hostel and if you need, we have available for sale at reception. You will perceive that our employees are wearing masks and face shields and that there will be a protective acrylic between you and the receptionists.

   In order to shorten the contact time at check-in, the hotel admission forms can be filled out online. You will receive an email or whatsapp with instructions as soon as you make the reservation.

    The keys delivered to you are sanitized with 70% alcohol.

   Alcohol gel was distributed at the reception, in the common areas and mainly at the entrance door.

    Distance markers were placed on the floors of the reception and breakfast areas.

    The critical points of the Hostel’s social areas, door handles, elevators, call buttons, handrails, counters and social bathrooms started to be cleaned regularly. 

   Security measures have been taken to ensure that the payment machines are hygienized beforehand.
The products purchased at the reception will be disinfected before being delivered.

SHARED SUITES

We reduced the accommodation capacity of the Shared Suites to meet the social distance and security of guests.

APARTMENTS

We divided the care of the apartments into three stages; disinfection, decontamination and cleaning.

DISINFECTION

After check-out (release of the apartment) we submitted the apartment to disinfection by ultra violet light that has been used for many years to disinfect environments and hospitals around the world, which generated the term UVGI – “Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation”. The energy photons of UVC light break the chemical bonds in the DNA of viruses and bacteria, inactivating or killing them.

DECONTAMINATION

With the apartment safe from disinfection, we remove used bedding and baths from the apartments, collect garbage, disinfect the bathroom with products containing agents approved by ANVISA to fight the Corona virus.

CLEANING

  Another team different than decontamination enters the decontaminated apartment to clean, organize and
disinfect points considered critical by its intense use, such as door handles, remote controls, handles etc.

  The bath and bed linen are washed at 60 ºC

  The bath and face towels are sealed and identified with a sanitized seal after the washing process and still
closed are placed in the apartments

  The cleaning and decontamination team works with complete personal protective equipment; mask,
face protection acrylic, shoe protectors, aprons and disposable gloves.

  To facilitate decontamination, some objects such as magazines, pillows and rugs were removed from the apartment.

  Fridge: any product found in the fridge is discarded and then disinfected and cleaned.

DAILY CLEANING AND HOUSEKEEPING

For security reasons, daily cleaning will be done without the guest in the apartment.
If the guest does not want daily tidying and cleaning, must inform the reception.

Daily cleaning and tidying will be carried out safely by trained staff using complete
personal protective equipment; mask, face protection acrylic, shoe protectors, aprons and disposable gloves.

BREAKFAST

Temporarily the self-service breakfast buffet is suspended.

We prepare individual trays with delicious and fresh items that our team will serve according
to your choice on our menu.

We reduced the number of tables in order to respect social distance.

Aspects related to hygiene were reviewed and retrained in the procedures for receiving and storing
goods, cooking, cleaning environments and equipment and guest service.

COMMON AREAS

The cleaning of the furniture was intensified.

The number of people will be limited to the size of the environment with a view to social distancing.

The TV room will be temporarily closed.

The use of the shared kitchen will be temporarily suspended due to the risk of contamination by the virus.
